How to Bulk Publish Pages on UniLink (Publish Multiple Pages at Once)

How to Bulk Publish Pages on UniLink (Publish Multiple Pages at Once)
A guide to publishing or unpublishing multiple UniLink pages simultaneously — saving agencies and power users hours when launching campaigns or deactivating seasonal content.
- UniLink's Bulk Actions feature lets you select multiple pages from the Pages list and publish, unpublish, or delete them all at once — available on Business and Agency plans.
- Access it via Dashboard → My Pages → select pages with checkboxes → Bulk Actions dropdown → choose action → confirm.
- Ideal for agencies launching multiple client pages simultaneously, deactivating post-campaign pages, or managing seasonal content activation cycles.
Managing a dozen or more UniLink pages one at a time is tedious work that doesn't scale. Whether you're an agency flipping 20 client pages live for a Black Friday campaign or a solo creator swapping between seasonal content sets, publishing pages one-by-one is a time sink with real risk — it's easy to miss one or publish at the wrong time when you're clicking through a long list. Bulk publish solves this by letting you select every page you need to change, apply the action once, and move on.
What Bulk Publishing Does
Bulk publish is part of UniLink's Bulk Actions system, which applies a single operation to a set of pages you select. The available actions include Publish (make pages publicly accessible), Unpublish (take pages offline without deleting them), and Delete (permanently remove pages). All three actions apply to every page in your selection simultaneously — there's no queue or delay between pages. The moment you confirm, all selected pages change state at once.
Published pages are live at their public URL (unil.ink/username or your custom domain) and accessible to any visitor. Unpublished pages are invisible to the public but remain fully intact in your dashboard — all their blocks, settings, and content are preserved exactly as configured. This makes unpublish the right action for seasonal campaigns: build the pages in advance, unpublish them, then bulk-publish exactly when the campaign goes live. After the campaign ends, bulk-unpublish to take them all offline without losing a single element.
Bulk Actions is available on Business ($49/month) and Agency plans. Starter and Pro plan users can publish pages individually but do not have access to the multi-select bulk actions workflow. For agencies managing sub-accounts, bulk actions apply within each sub-account's pages — you manage each client's pages from within their sub-account context, not from the top-level agency view. The exception is the Agency Dashboard's batch publish feature, which allows cross-account actions, covered in the steps below.
How to Get Started
- Confirm your plan: Log in to app.unilink.us, go to Account → Billing, and verify you're on Business or Agency. The multi-select checkbox and Bulk Actions dropdown are not visible on Starter or Pro plans.
- Navigate to My Pages: Click My Pages in the left navigation. This shows your full list of pages with their current published status (green dot = published, grey dot = unpublished).
- Switch to list view: If your pages are displayed in card/grid view, switch to List View using the view toggle in the top-right of the Pages panel. List view shows the checkboxes on the left side of each page row and makes multi-select much easier to work with.
- Identify the pages you need to act on: Scan the list and note which pages need to be published or unpublished. You can use the Filter dropdown to show only "Published" or "Unpublished" pages, which makes it faster to select all pages in a given state.
- Confirm bulk actions are available: Hover over any page row — if checkboxes appear on the left side of each row, bulk actions are enabled for your account. If no checkboxes appear, your plan does not include this feature.
How to Use Bulk Publishing
- Select your pages: Click the checkbox next to each page you want to act on. To select all pages on the current view, click the checkbox in the column header. Use the filter first to show only the pages you want, then select all — this prevents accidentally including pages you don't intend to change.
- Open Bulk Actions: Once at least one page is selected, the Bulk Actions dropdown appears in the top bar of the Pages list. Click it to see the available actions: Publish, Unpublish, and Delete.
- Choose Publish or Unpublish: Click the appropriate action. A confirmation dialog appears listing how many pages will be affected and the action that will be taken. Read this carefully — the number shown should match your expectation before you proceed.
- Confirm the action: Click Confirm in the dialog. UniLink processes all selected pages simultaneously. Depending on how many pages you selected, this may take 5–15 seconds. A success notification appears when complete.
- Verify the result: After confirmation, check the status indicators next to each page you acted on. Published pages show a green dot; unpublished pages show a grey dot. Spot-check one or two of the published URLs by opening them in a new incognito tab to confirm they're live.
Key Settings
| Setting | What It Does | Recommended |
|---|---|---|
| Pages view mode | Switches between card/grid view and list view for the Pages panel | Use list view for bulk actions — checkboxes are easier to target and more pages are visible per screen |
| Page filter | Filters the pages list by status (Published, Unpublished, All) or by label/tag | Filter before selecting to avoid accidentally including wrong pages in your bulk action |
| Select all checkbox | Selects every page currently visible in the list view (respects active filters) | Use with a filter active so "select all" only catches the pages you intend to modify |
| Bulk Actions dropdown | Appears when at least one page is selected; shows Publish, Unpublish, Delete options | Never use Delete in a bulk action unless you are certain — deletions are permanent with no undo |
| Page labels/tags | Custom labels you assign to pages for organizational filtering (e.g., "Client A", "Seasonal") | Label pages before campaigns begin so you can filter + bulk-act by label rather than scrolling to find them |
Get the Most Out Of Bulk Publishing
Build your pages in advance and leave them unpublished until launch. This workflow — build, verify, hold — is far lower risk than building and publishing on the same day. When pages are built a week early, you have time to review them thoroughly, share preview links with stakeholders for approval, and catch errors that only become visible in a live-preview context. Then, when launch day arrives, bulk publishing takes under a minute for 50 pages. The actual launch becomes a non-event rather than a stressful sprint.
Use page labels as your campaign management system. Create a label for each campaign, event, or client project and apply it to every page associated with that work. When the campaign ends, filter by that label and bulk-unpublish the entire set. Labels persist even when pages are unpublished, so when a seasonal campaign returns next year, those pages are still labeled and ready to bulk-publish again without any reorganization. This approach is especially valuable for agencies managing recurring seasonal content for multiple clients simultaneously.
Establish a "bulk publish checklist" for yourself or your team before any multi-page launch. It should include: confirming all pages are on the correct URLs, verifying at least one page from each campaign renders correctly on mobile, checking that custom domains are pointing correctly if applicable, and confirming payment processors are connected for any e-commerce pages in the batch. A written checklist run before the bulk action prevents the kind of embarrassing errors that only get caught after a client's audience has already seen them.
After a bulk unpublish, don't delete the pages unless you're certain the content is truly finished. Unpublished pages consume no real resources and remain completely invisible to the public. Keeping them in your dashboard costs nothing but preserves every block, design setting, and configuration — which means you can bulk-publish the same pages again next season without rebuilding anything. The only reason to delete is if the content will never be reused and you want to keep your Pages list clean.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Cause | Fix |
|---|---|---|
| Checkboxes not appearing next to pages | Account is on Starter or Pro plan, or page list is in card/grid view instead of list view | Switch to list view using the view toggle; if checkboxes still don't appear, upgrade to Business plan |
| Bulk Actions dropdown is missing even with pages selected | Plan does not include bulk actions, or page selections were cleared by a page reload | Verify plan at Account → Billing; avoid reloading the page while making selections as this clears your selection state |
| Some pages in the bulk publish didn't go live | Pages have missing required settings (no URL slug, no published blocks) that prevent publishing | Pages that fail to publish individually will also fail in bulk; open each failed page, check for validation warnings, resolve them, and try publishing individually first |
| Published pages are returning 404 errors after bulk publish | Custom domain DNS not propagated, or page slug conflicts with an existing reserved route | Test the unil.ink/username URL directly first to rule out DNS issues; if that works, the domain configuration needs attention in Settings → Custom Domain |
- Saves significant time for agencies and power users managing 10+ pages across multiple campaigns or clients
- Reduces human error compared to individual publishing — one confirmation covers all selected pages atomically
- Unpublish preserves all page content intact, enabling reliable seasonal reuse without rebuilding
- Page labels provide a lightweight campaign management layer that works hand-in-hand with bulk actions
- Requires Business or Agency plan — not available on Starter ($9/month) or Pro ($19/month)
- Bulk delete is irreversible — one misclick on the wrong action in the dropdown causes permanent data loss
- Cross-account bulk actions (managing multiple sub-accounts at once) require the Agency plan and Dashboard, not the standard Business plan
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I schedule a bulk publish for a specific date and time?
Scheduled publishing is configured at the individual page level, not as a bulk action. You can set a publish date and time on each page under its Settings → Visibility options. For a campaign involving many pages, the most reliable approach is to pre-schedule each page individually (which takes about 30 seconds per page) rather than performing a bulk publish manually at launch time, where time zone errors or connectivity issues could cause problems.
Is there a limit to how many pages I can bulk publish at once?
UniLink does not advertise a hard cap, but very large bulk actions (100+ pages at once) may take longer to process — typically under a minute even for large batches. If you have an Agency account with sub-accounts, each sub-account's pages are managed separately and counts are per sub-account rather than across the entire agency portfolio.
What happens to analytics data when a page is unpublished?
Unpublishing a page hides it from visitors but does not delete or reset any analytics data. Historical visit counts, click data, and conversion metrics remain fully intact in your analytics dashboard. When you republish the page, analytics continue accumulating from where they left off — there's no reset on unpublish/republish cycles.
Can team members with Editor roles perform bulk publish actions?
This depends on your team role configuration. By default, Editors can publish and unpublish individual pages they have access to. Bulk actions availability for team members follows the same plan and permission rules as for account owners — they need to be on a Business plan account and have publishing permissions. Check your team role settings under Settings → Team to confirm what each role can do.
If I accidentally bulk-delete pages, can they be recovered?
Page deletions on UniLink are permanent and cannot be undone from the dashboard. If you accidentally delete pages via bulk delete, contact UniLink support immediately at support@unilink.us — depending on your plan and how recently the deletion occurred, support may be able to assist with recovery from a server-side backup. This is not guaranteed, which is why bulk delete should always be treated as a last resort action used only after explicit confirmation.
- Bulk publishing is available on Business and Agency plans — access it from My Pages in list view by selecting pages with checkboxes and using the Bulk Actions dropdown.
- Always filter pages by label or status before selecting to avoid accidentally including unintended pages in a bulk action.
- Unpublish preserves all page content intact and costs nothing — prefer unpublish over delete for seasonal content you'll reuse.
- Build and verify pages days before launch, then bulk-publish at launch time to keep the actual launch fast and low-risk.
- Bulk delete is permanent and irreversible — treat it with extreme caution and never use it during time-pressured launches.
